To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Amorim family’s entry into the high quality wine production business, Nossa Senhora do Carmo – the asset that the deceased businessman maintained after giving up his investments in Port wine – decided to honour Américo Amorim with the launch of Aeternus, a wine made from the “memorable” vintage of 2017, the year of the death of the precursor of this project.
Aeternus comes from the centenary vineyard of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, planted on solid schist rocks over about 2.5 hectares.
